Teams and roles
Invite people to a workspace and choose what each person can do.
Business plan. Invite colleagues to a workspace so you can manage links together. Each person gets a role that decides what they can do.
Roles
| Role | In short |
|---|---|
| Viewer | See links and analytics |
| Analyst | Viewer, plus export analytics |
| Manager | Analyst, plus create and edit links, QR codes and campaigns |
| Administrator | Manager, plus domains, API keys and team members |
| Owner | Everything, including billing |
Give people the lowest role that lets them do their job. For example, a marketing agency that only reports on results needs Analyst, not Manager.

Invite someone
You need the Administrator or Owner role.
- Open Team.
- Under Invite someone, enter their email address and choose a Role.
- Choose Send invitation. They get an email with a link, and the invitation appears under Pending invitations.
- Invitations work for 7 days and can be used once.
- To cancel one, choose Withdraw. Inviting the same address again replaces the old invitation.
- Pending invitations count towards your plan's team member limit until they're accepted or withdrawn.
Accept an invitation
- Open the link in the invitation email. You'll see who invited you and the role you'll have.
- New to the service? Enter your name, choose a password and select Create account and join. You're signed in and taken straight to the workspace. There's no separate confirmation email: the invitation reaching your inbox confirms the address.
- Already have an account? Select Sign in to accept (your address is filled in), sign in, then choose Accept invitation. If your address wasn't confirmed yet, accepting confirms it.
- Signed in as someone else? Choose Sign out and continue as the invited address.
The workspace then appears in the workspace menu at the top of the app.
Your own personal workspace stays as it is. Switch between workspaces with the menu at the top of the page.
Change a role
- Open Team.
- Next to the person, choose the new role and select Change.
The change applies straight away, including to any API keys they created.
Remove someone or leave
- Remove: on the Team page, choose Remove next to the person. They lose access straight away and their API keys stop working. Links they made stay.
- Leave: to leave a workspace you were invited to, choose Leave next to your own name.
Team rules
- Nobody can give a role higher than their own.
- The Owner role can't be given by invitation or role change. To hand over everything, use Transfer ownership.
- Only the Owner can change or remove an Administrator.
- The Owner can't be removed. Everyone else can leave.
- The team member limit counts each person once across all of an organisation's workspaces, plus pending invitations.
- You can only accept an invitation with the email address it was sent to.
